Q: Is this a Mardi Gras parade?
A: Not exactly. We’re a Mardi Gras–style parade, rolling every spring between French Quarter Festival and Jazz & Heritage Festival weekends. Think Kern Studios floats, costumes, throws, marching bands, and dance troupes—but in April, not during Carnival season.
Q: When will the first parade roll?
A: Our inaugural parade is set for April 2026.
Q: What is the parade theme?
A: All Things New Orleans— celebrating our city’s cuisine, cocktails, music, history, architecture, and culture through spectacular floats sponsored by local businesses and institutions.
Q: What does “Les Bon Temps Rouler” mean?
A: It’s part of the famous New Orleans phrase “Laissez les bons temps rouler”, meaning “Let the good times roll!”
Q: How do I join the krewe?
A: Membership is open now! Just fill out the Join the Krewe form on our website, select your rider package, and submit payment.
Q: Is there a deadline to join?
A: Early bird pricing ends September 15, 2025. After that date, full membership rates apply until spots are filled. Membership is limited, so act fast!
Q: What’s included in my membership?
A: Your float spot, costume, a package of throws, admission to krewe events, and all the fun of rolling in the parade, plus access to V.I.P. packages and special event tickets throughout the year.
Q: Do I have to provide my own throws?
A: A basic package is included with your membership, but you can always purchase more to toss to the crowd.
Q: Can kids join as riders?
A: Riders must be at least 21 years old on parade day.
Q: How do I become a sponsor?
A: Visit our Sponsorship page to see available tiers and benefits, then complete the inquiry form.
Q: What kinds of sponsorships are available?
A: Options range from sponsoring a single float to being a presenting sponsor of an entire event.
Q: Do sponsors get to ride?
A: Most sponsorship packages include a set number of rider spots—check the package details for specifics.
Q: What is the parade route?
A: The route winds through the French Quarter and into downtown New Orleans. A detailed map will be posted closer to parade day.
Q: Is the parade free to watch?
A: Yes! Our parade is open to the public—just find a good spot along the route and enjoy.
Q: What time does the parade start?
A: Sunset. Exact start time will be announced in early 2026.
Q: How long will the parade last?
A: Approximately 2–3 hours from the first float to the last.
Q: Will there be marching bands and dance troupes?
A: Absolutely! We feature a mix of high-energy marching bands, brass ensembles, and dance krewes from across the region.
